Job Description

CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assess the physical condition of patients, diagnoses problems, plans and advises staff on the appropriate treatment.

• Educates patients, their families and the community to prevent injury and disability and to lead healthy lifestyles.

• Plans & implements community fitness programs.

• Consults with physician on resident’s progress; maintains appropriate records.

• Ensures patients appointments are scheduled appropriately.

• Reviews and Analyses customer feedback forms.

PROCESSS RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for framing appropriate departmental policies and procedures, quality assurance programs, safety standards and infection control protocols and ensuring its implementation.

• Ensures compliance with NABH Standards

• Identifies appropriate internal controls for department; provides mechanisms to monitor and enforce compliance.

• Ensures proper care and maintenance of department equipment and supplies.

• Ensures that the department is in compliance with all statutory requirements.

• Is responsible for maintenance of department records

PEOPLE RESPONSIBILITY

Takes responsibility for all physiotherapy staff who report to the position.
